Nicola Oberto's Trediberri estate is poised to be one of the next great traditionalist estates in the region. Stylistically, they've been compared to Burlotto and Giulia Negri for their quixotically Burgundian elegance, purity, and aromatics. With one of the highest altitude sites in Barolo, the estate finds its signature perfumed style in every vintage. Enjoy! - BRANDON KERNE, MASTER SOMMELIER
96 Points from Audrey Frick of JebDunnuck.com; "Ripe ruby red, the 2020 Barolo Rocche Dell’Annunziata is spicy with aromas of candied oranges, dried cranberries, incense, clove, and dried roses. The palate is finessed and expresses a lot of elegance (true to what you expect from La Morra), with fine tannins and balanced freshness and acidity. Long on the palate, it has exceptional purity with balanced depth, and it’s going to offer a wide drinking window over the next 15-20 years."
